Trinity Episcopal School is an Approved TEFA School!
The Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) program offers families a new opportunity to choose the educational environment that best fits their child’s needs. Through this state-funded initiative, eligible students may receive financial assistance that can be applied toward tuition and approved educational expenses at participating private schools like Trinity Episcopal School.
Designed to expand access and opportunity, TEFA empowers parents to invest directly in their child’s academic journey—supporting learning, character formation, and growth within a values-centered school community where students are known and nurtured.
Once the State of Texas releases the official rules for the Texas Education Freedom Account program, Trinity Episcopal School will share detailed information with our current and prospective families. Please plan to attend one of our TES Texas Education Freedom Account Parent Town Hall Meetings on January 20 or February 1 (location to be announced). Family applications are scheduled to open on February 4, 2026.
We also want to encourage our current families to apply for TEFA funds once applications open. As part of Trinity’s financial aid procedures, all families currently receiving or planning to apply for financial assistance will be required to submit a TEFA application. However, please know that a family’s eligibility or ineligibility for TEFA funds will not determine their ability to receive financial assistance from Trinity. Our commitment to supporting families remains unchanged.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to our Enrollment Director, Kailey Leske, our Business Manager, Dr. Martha Lumley, or our Head Of School, Dr. Beverly Finch with any questions. We are here to support you as we navigate this new process together.
