Teacher Spotlight: A Devoted Teacher at Trinity
This week, we’re delighted to highlight one of our dedicated teachers, Mrs. Stephanie Hybner, a passionate educator with 18 years of experience, four of them here at Trinity Episcopal School. With three children enrolled at Trinity—her youngest in K5 and her oldest in eighth grade—she is deeply rooted in our school community, both as a teacher and a parent.
Her journey in education is uniquely fulfilling, particularly because she can integrate a biblical perspective across all subjects, reinforcing God’s love and presence in each lesson. She finds purpose in helping students see the world through a faith-centered lens, creating a foundation of spiritual understanding that shapes their learning experiences. For her, the ability to teach with this spiritual focus makes Trinity a special place to work, aligning her career with her values in an environment where every subject reflects a deeper, faith-based purpose.
Among the many Trinity traditions, Organized Mass Chaos (OMC) Day stands out as her favorite. This end-of-year event brings the entire school together for friendly competition, laughter, and teamwork. She especially appreciates seeing older students guide their younger Chapel Buddies during the day, fostering bonds across grade levels and adding a layer of unity to the festivities. OMC Day represents the spirit of Trinity: community, joy, and collaboration.
Inspired daily by her fellow teachers, she finds joy in the supportive and collaborative environment they foster. Observing her colleagues’ creativity and teaching styles provides her with fresh ideas and perspectives, encouraging her to grow and try new approaches in her own classroom. The sense of shared purpose among the staff creates an atmosphere where both students and teachers can thrive, making Trinity a genuinely uplifting place to work.
For her, being a Patriot embodies the privilege of working at a school with an incredible community of students, families, and staff. Trinity is not just a workplace but a supportive family, committed to nurturing young minds in faith and wisdom. In her view, the Trinity community truly works as one to create a nurturing, loving environment for every student.
Outside the classroom, she enjoys reading, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends. Her positive energy and passion for teaching enrich our school community, making her a beloved member of the Trinity family. We’re grateful to have her guiding and inspiring our young students as they take their first steps on their educational journeys. Thank you for all you do, and for the joy and dedication you bring to Trinity every day!
