Dr. Martha Lumley serves as Business Manager and brings a unique combination of academic leadership, financial expertise, and educational passion to Trinity’s administrative team. She holds a Doctor of Business Administration from Creighton University, where her dissertation focused on university governance and presidential accountability, a Master of Professional Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Evansville. Dr. Lumley is also a Certified Public Accountant and completed Martha Beck’s Wayfinder Life Coach Training.

Dr. Lumley’s diverse background includes five years in public accounting as an auditor and eight years as Assistant Professor of Accounting at the University of Evansville, where she also served four years as Associate Dean of the Schroeder Family School of Business Administration. In her academic role, she managed budgets, led faculty teams, developed strategic plans, and oversaw accreditation processes. She has had the opportunity to study and teach abroad at Harlaxton College in England and is passionate about experiential learning and lifelong education. A native of Indiana, Dr. Lumley moved to Victoria in 2023 when her partner became Assistant Site Manager of the Presidio La Bahia State Historic Site in Goliad. She and her husband Mitch enjoy exploring the big blue skies of Texas with their orange cat Alfie and yellow dog Benelli.
