Andrea Heras, known to her students as Mrs. Andrea, is grateful to be part of the Trinity Episcopal School community. Born and raised in Floresville, Texas, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. She later earned her medical degree from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara Medical School in Guadalajara, Mexico, where she also met her husband.

After the birth of their son, Andrea dedicated her time to raising and educating him, including homeschooling him through Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten. When her son began attending Trinity, she quickly came to appreciate the school’s nurturing environment and commitment to academic and spiritual growth. Inspired to give back to a community that had become so meaningful to her family, Andrea began substitute teaching at Trinity and discovered a passion for education.

Andrea is thankful for the opportunity to support Trinity students in their learning and growth and enjoys being part of a community where children are encouraged to grow academically, spiritually, and personally.
